Network Troubleshooting Guide – macOS
Use this guide if you are having network connectivity troubles with your Mac computer.
1.
Please follow these troubleshooting steps if your device is connected to the network using an Ethernet cable.
2.
Click on the network icon in the tray and select Open Network Preferences...
3.
Select Ethernet from the network adapter list.
4.
Please confirm that “Configure IPv4” is set to Using DHCP.
5.
If your computer has not automatically attempted to or has failed to authenticate then you will see a Connect button. Please click this button to initiate the authentication process.
6.
After successful authentication you will see the “Authenticated via EAP-TLS” status like below.

Click on the network icon in the tray and select Open Network Preferences...
9.
Select Wi-Fi from the network adapter list.
10.
Please ensure you are connected to the CCL-Secure network.
11.
If you are connected to CCL-Guest or CCL-Connect then you will need to remove these networks from your preferred networks list.
- Click the Advanced button in the bottom right corner of the window.
- Select the network and press the minus button to remove it.
12.
If your computer has not automatically attempted to or has failed to authenticate then you will see a Connect button. Please click this button to initiate the authentication process.
13.
After successful authentication you will see the “Authenticated via EAP-TLS” status like below.
